Role Overview:
The Senior Manager - R&D Mechanical role, plays a vital role in designing customized solutions that suit the customer requirements for the specific needs within the agreed budget and timeline for project(s) awarded to Addverb. with various criteria related to functionality, manufacturability, maintainability, aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, user experience, and environmental & safety standards as well as mentor and guide the team.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the material flow of the project and validate the solution.
- Design/ optimize the solution to handle the customer-specific unit load / palletized load/bins.
- Preparation of layout to minimize the variation from the standard product portfolio and submission for DAP
- Customize products to suit the material handling according to size and environmental conditions.
- Make drawing release plans with mutual agreement of the projects team.
- Prepare 2D and 3D (CADD), Manufacturing & GA drawings and BOM.
- Document the MoM of all discussions with CFTs and customers.
- Strive for the first-time-right design.
- Review and approve the drawings of third-party vendors for procurement as and when required.
Key Skills, Qualifications, and Required Years of Experience
- B. Tech/MTech/M.S. or equivalent
- 5- 8 years of experience in automobile, auto ancillary industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Solid Works.
- Exposure to design various kinds of layouts in AutoCAD or Bricks cad, DAP, Design Planning & scheduling, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and project execution.
- Experience in design, manufacturing, testing & working of various types of roller and belt conveyors, mezzanines, fencings, lifts and other material handling equipment.
- In depth knowledge of Manufacturing process, sheet metal, 2D drawings, GD&T, Assembly, Material Science, Ergonomics and Machine Safety,
