Role Overview:

The Embedded Lead role is based out of the corporate office, Noida. As a Hardware Embedded Lead, you will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and test embedded systems while ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. The objective is to formulate scalable and efficient systems tailored for robots and standalone devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.
  • Create a schematic design for the embedded board in the area of the motor driver, IO cards, and moderately complex IO cards.
  • Create PCB layout for the high current system, ESD/EFT/Surge compliance, Battery charger, and DCDC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Implement and test hardware designs, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and testing procedures and ensure that all design documentation complies with industry standards and company policies.
  • Work closely with firmware developers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate hardware components seamlessly into the overall system.
  • Build and test hardware prototypes, iterating designs based on test results and feedback. Conduct design verification and validation testing to ensure the reliability and performance of hardware components.

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Required Years of Experience

  • Minimum Qualification of BTech EE/ECE or MTech – EE/ECE
  • Prior Experience of Master + 2 years or BTech + 5 years
  • Knowledge of PCB Schematic Design with a focus on Power Systems, Motor Drives, and Analog Simulation
  • Experience of layout designing, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded systems components.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, protocols for hardware development and different industry compliances.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), Firmware Coding.
  • Exposure to PLM system, BOM creation, FOC motor driver is an added advantage.
