They aimed to create a flexible warehouse automation solution for their E-commerce fulfillment centers that could efficiently handle operations, reduce fulfillment time and costs, and enhance order accuracy for a wide range of products.

 

The primary focus was on optimising warehouse picking operations, prioritising order flow based on shipping requirements to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment, and increasing sorting speed within the warehouse.

 

 

Solution

Addverb has implemented the revolutionary Quazzy system, combining the carton shuttle (Quadron) with the sorting robot (Zippy). This powerful solution enhances delivery speed and order accuracy in limited spaces.

 

With the Quazzy system, Landmark E-commerce fulfilment centre has achieved a remarkable throughput of 1,000 sorts per hour, transforming their fulfilment efficiency.

 

The solution streamlines order fulfilment with precision. Orders are picked in batches, sorted into bulky and non-bulky items, and processed through a system of conveyors, robotic sorters, and DWS scanners.

 

The flexible warehouse automation solution minimises errors and walking, with orders dispatched to the outbound area for final distribution.
