Mondial Relay: Robotic Sortation System
Mondial Relay encountered significant challenges due to manpower constraints and limited opportunities for facility expansion in France. Addverb deployed its advanced sorting robot, Zippy, to optimize sorting processes within their existing spaces. The initial rollout of 62 Zippy 10 robots achieved a throughput of 2,500 parcels per hour. Following this success, an additional 10 robots were introduced, boosting the throughput to over 3,000 parcels sorted per hour. This demonstrated Zippy’s scalability and efficiency in enhancing parcel handling operations.
