The resulting system features automated storage and retrieval capability, optimized material flow, and an enhanced order fulfillment process. These improvements not only increased storage utilization but also substantially raised daily order throughput, thereby ensuring a faster and more efficient distribution process.
The dry automated grocery warehouse is designed for seamless automation which is optimized for material handling from inbound to dispatch. Materials enter through a telescopic and flexible conveyor system, while bulk items are handled using a vacuum lifter for efficiency. Materials are classified into A, B, or C class SKUs for optimized storage and fulfillment:
A-Class SKUs go to the Multi-Pro, Mother-child shuttle ASRS for fast retrieval.
