Role Overview:

The Solution Design Engineer your role is based out of the corporate headquarters in Noida. The purpose of the role is to study, plan and drive end-to-end solutioning for Systems designed with the objective of making cost effective solutions and meeting daily / monthly KPI targets and for driving continuous improvement in optimizing the solutions to ensure cost effective design and profitability.

Responsibilities

 
  • Design world-class, practical, innovative, and safe automation solutions for customers which add value to their business.
  • Prepare the layout basis for the material flow and capacity calculation for various equipment which are part of the system and ensure they meet the desired throughput.
  • Ideate and define suitable automation concepts, considering the type of technology, architecture, PLC, Switch Gear, and Panels.
  • Prepare and submit RFQs (Requests for Quotation)
  • Get the prepared solution and BOQ reviewed by the reporting manager and controls solution lead
  • Review key metrics related to Productivity, quality, cost, safety, and morale
  • Revise the prepared solution per the layout revision from a mechanical/control perspective
  • Detail out the latest layout and solutions for controls and submit it to the project team
  • Ensure self-inspection and self-certification of proposed solutions and implemented solutions.
  • Respond promptly and resolve issues with Sales and Projects team

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Required Years of Experience

  • Minimum Qualification of BE / B.Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Industrial Engineering
  • 2-5 years minimum in material handling and warehouse robotics industries
  • Prior experience in Autocad/Bricscad, MS Excel
  • Any Certification on PLC Programming
