Role Overview:

The role of SCM Engineer is based out of Noida Headquarters. As a SCM Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of materials, components, and products from suppliers to end customers. This role requires meticulous planning, coordination, and management of the supply chain to meet production and customer demand while optimizing costs and maintaining high quality. The incumbent will work closely with various departments, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

 
  • To handle ordering and buying for portfolios assigned to an individual
  • Requirement calculation by analysing demand and available stock on hand
  • Raise purchase requisition of the requirement to Procurement team and get PO released.
  • Work closely with Suppliers/Vendors/production team to get the material available on time for meeting month plan
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders internally to get the FG ready for billing
  • Communicate material availability dates to various stakeholders.
  • Drive projects and Innovative practices for overall improvement in Supply chain performance
  • Develop oneself as an alternative to Manager by attaching to them and understanding their role.
  • Develop negotiation, communication, and time management skills which are necessary for day-to-day working at higher levels

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Required Years of Experience

 
  • B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in robotics or high-tech manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in demand planning, inventory management, and procurement processes
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Excel for data analysis and reporting
